I love your site……
But I do think that the title for the Bradbury novel is very appropriate. To me it seems to be a modern day version, not of Macbeth, but of that idea and phrase. But obviously with a different tone to the ending. I see Mr. Dark as Hecate/the Witches and Jim as a potential Macbeth. People are drawn into the Night Circus and changed, Jim wants what they have to offer but unlike the man Macbeth the boy Jim is able to turn away….
Well…thanks for letting me rant here. I honestly don’t remember what rabbit hole I followed to get to this site but I really like and appreciate it!!

Greatly looking forward to this film version of Macbeth. And the delivery of this line–even in the trailer–is an exquisite tribute to Shakespeare and increases the promise of a great performance!
